Vandal Resistant Standalone Keypad Description
The electronics is resin potted for IP67 level of protection. Both the housing and keys are die-cast in Zamac. The VLP99? keys are arranged in a 3x4 matrix and have a positive feel with tactile feedback provided by snap-dome technology. It has two free-tension LEDs (green & red), which can be wired as indicators in an installation e.g. door open.
VKP99 has a 99-user memory, 2 outputs, 1 exit button and tamper output. It operates on 12 or 24 volts AC or DC, which greatly simplifies installation. The EEPROM in the circuit ensures that codes programmed does not get erased even if there is a power failure. Its strong construction is designed to provide long life and trouble-free service even in the most hostile of environments.
The VKP99 has the proprietary CODIX bus to facilitate networking. With CODIX, the VKP99 can be connected to slave keypads or proximity readers from our MULTIX range, widening the options for installation.
It is an excellent choice for single door access control.
