Digital Satellite Signal Analyzer (1802 1820) Description
Feature
Model No. 1802 & No. 1820 measure the quality of satellite signals from the antenna dish. They are compact, field portable and very easy to use, making them the ideal test instrument for the satellite installer. The 1802/1820 are an alternative expensive, bulky spectrum analyzers. Since they display actual signal level, there is no need to calculate resolution bandwidth corrections. No. 1802 displays C/N snd No. 1820 displays C/N as well as BER(Digital Satellite DVB & DSS with SCPC. MCPC, QPSK Demodulator). The BER test detects problems that remain hidden when viewed on the analyzer screen. The BER measurement provides the installer with a high level of confidence by quantifying system margin or weather resistance.
