Personal Ion Chromatography Description
This new instrument provides ion chromatography with a completely new field of application. Determinations of one or two components in a sample can now be carried out easily and economically by IC.
It was not previously possible to use ion chromatography for such applications because of the high costs involved.
The 790 Personal IC is designed for extremely easy operation without making any compromises regarding data security or the accuracy of the results.
Top quality - low price
The IC pump used is based on the tried and proven double-piston principle, which guarantees a constant low-pulsation flow.
The 790 Personal IC uses the MSM Metrohm Suppressor Module for chemical suppression; the MSM has already proven itself more than a thousand times in other ion chromatographs.
The conductivity detector is the same one as that used in other detectors with its well-known excellent thermal stability.
From the ppm to the percentage range - without any difficulty
The conductivity detector of the 790 Personal IC works with a measuring range of 1000 µS/cm. This allows you to analyze ion concentrations from the high ppb to the percentage range.
The determination limit is approx. 0.1 mg/L. You can, of course, work with or without chemical suppression. You will find the optimal separating column for your application among the wide range of Metrohm IC columns.
Very easy operation The new 790 Personal IC is outstandingly suitable for simple routine applications. It is completely controlled by a PC and the chromatograms are evaluated automatically.
There is also nothing to stop you from using a sample changer (750 IC Autosampler or 766 IC Sample Processor).
