MIC-1 Ion Chromatography Description
This modular anion system with electronic and chemical suppression ensures the greatest degree of flexibility possible: you have a free choice of eluent if you work solely with electronic suppression. In contrast to cations, as the sensitivity of anions can be increased still further by the use of chemical suppression this system additionally contains the MSM Metrohm Suppressor Module which is integrated in the 733 IC Separation Center. The 752 IC Pump Unit is used for regeneration and rinsing.
Of course, this system can also be used for the determination of cations. In this case the suppressor and pump unit are simply switched off. When the column and eluent have been changed your cation system is ready for use.
Metal and PEEK versions of the system are available. In the PEEK system the pump head, valve, pulsation dampener, ?SM?and all in-line filters are made of PEEK (polyetheretherketone).
The maximum pressure is reduced from 50 MPa to 25 MPa if PEEK is used.
Simple automation with the 766 IC Sample Processor is carried out without any additional cables. If the 752 IC Pump Unit is also to be remotely controlled from the 766 IC Sample Processor then a cable and a distributor are also required:
- Remote extension cable (1:1)(order number 6.2125.090)
- Distributor for remote lines to five 25-pin sockets (order number 6.2125.120)
