Bulkhead Connectors Description
| Connecting the pulse valve to the blow tube means providing
a hole in the wall of the collectors. Installation usually requires welding
and often the use of some kind of fitting. While this is time comsuming,
it is also difficult as these holes are usually quite close together and
consequently welding becomes a slow and awkward task.
The introduction of TAH HA bulkhead connectors used in conjunction with the C, F & M Series of pulse valves has eliminated any need for welding, and has enabled the entry hole installation completed very quickly, reducing installation costs considerably. Bulkhead connector is made of pressure die cast aluminum and is supplied complete with nuts, seals and seal support cups. Normally it is supplied with BUNA-N seals for temperature up to 200 (93 ), but special Viton seals, if specified, can be supplied for temperature up to 450 (232 ). Each connector is supplied with a gasket to seal the fitting against the collector wall and this eliminates any need for costly welding. |
