Description
PPR (PACSPARTNER RIS) is a report generation client module of PPS, which can be utilized at hospitals and teleradiology imaging center. PPS has the database of PPR. PPR manages patient information, radiology department reservations, examination and diagnosis. The PPR enables users to input, search, and modify patient and examination data and related statistics. It can be integrated with the PACSPARTNER Server.
As PPR has been programed to make the argument which is interfaced to display images using PPR. The matching of Accession Number (-K) is not required by PPR because PPR and PPS are sharing same database. (See RIS/HIS Interface > Structure of Argment ).
You MUST get information of PPR server for ODBC connection from PPR server administrator. To share same database, you must configure PPW with ODBC connection to PPR server and vice versa.
Two types of PPR program
- RISreport.exe
For radiologists to do reporting and editing.
- RISreportc.exe
For radiology technologists or administrator to just review the contents of reports. It is utilized for data and workflow management of radiology department or teleradiology workflow.
Features
- Utilization as a stand-alone system.
- Applications can extend from the radiology department to nuclear medicine,
nuclear equipments for intra/extra-cardiology, cardiac sono, cardiac angio
and ECG systems.
- Report generator customized by user.
Hardware Requirements
PPR can be installed at the server of PPS at once

Our Limitations
- Current PPR supports report generation, editing and review. Scheduling,
patient/exam administration and inventory management are not supported. We
are developing Web-based RIS now.
- Digital voice recording or recognition system are not included in PPR.
