Sondar Ultrasonic Back-up Guide System is an ultrasonic back up alert system, which consists of ultrasonic sensors, a controller and a display unit. The Sondar system is activated when the vehicle is shifted in reverse.
Ultrasonic sensors attached on the rear part of the vehicle detect objects by transmitting and receiving ultrasonic pulses to/from the objects. The driver is warned of potential accident factors in three different ways simultaneously while backing up his/her vehicle
