• i®Glucovance 500/2.5mg, 500/5mg is a combination of 500mg metformin in biguanide group, an active ingredient of the famous ®Glucophage which still widely used in type 2 diabetes patients and of 2.5mg and 5mg glibenclamide in sulfonylurea group.

Indication

• Treatment of type 2 diabetes in adults,
• As second-line therapy, when dietary management, physical exercise and prior treatment with metformin or sulfonylurea are not adequate to restore glycemic control.
• As a replacement for previous combination therapy with metformin and sulfonylurea in patients whose glycemia is stable and well-controlled.
