Application
- These cables are mainly used for
- F/S LAP : Duct installation
- F/S LAP S-S : Aerial use
- F/S LAP STA : Direct buried
Construction
Conductor
- Solid annealed copper in size 0.32, 0.4, 0.5, 0.6, 0.65 and 0.9mm
Insulation
- Dual expanded polyolefin with outer skin layer
Twisted Pair / Quad
- Individual conductors are twisted into pairs or quads
Core Assembly
- Cables having 25 pairs or fewer are assembled in a single group. Cables having more than 25 pairs are assembled in a units.
Core Wrap
- Non-hygroyscopic tape shall be applied helically or longitudinally.
Shield
- The metallic foil shall consist of a PE coated aluminum tape.
(Corrugation is applicable if so ordered)
Sheath
- Black Polyethylene in accordance with ASTM D 1248 Type I, Class C, Category 4 or 5
Suspend Strand
- (if so ordered)1 or 7 Stranded galvanized steel wires.
Armouring
- (if so ordered) Two layers of steel tape shall be applied open helically one layer of corrugated steel tape shall be applied longitudinally as per order, then shall be applied black polyethylene.
