HCV rapid test Description
The NEOBIO anti-HCV Card is a rapid chromatographic immunoassay for the qualitative detection of antibody to Hepatitis C virus (HCV) in human serum or plasma.
The NEOBIO anti-HCV Card is a rapid test to quali tatively detect the presence of antibody to HCV in serum or plasma specimens. The test utilizes a combination of protein A-colloidal gold conjugate and recombinant HCV polyprotein to selectively detect antibody to HCV in serum or plasma. The recombinant HCV polyprotein used in the test kit is encoded by the genes for both structural (nucleocapsid) and non-structural proteins including NS-3, NS-4 and NS-5 regions.
