The Waveon 708 is a high performance,
cost effective embedded wireless
communication device with integrated GPS
and GSM/GPRS module. Its application
includes vehicle and asset track and trace,
and remote monitoring and data collection.
Transmit data wirelessly over GPRS/GSM or serial interface connection.
Event Triggered by sensor threshold alert
Data aquisition and on-board logging of events

Highlights
The Waveon 708 can be configured to monitor, read and transmit real time data from various
sensor readings and event-triggered alerts to a backend server. The device has digital
input/output ports, ADC input ports and RS232 serial ports that can be configured to receive
data from various sensors, monitor machine activity, and transmit vital data via GSM/GPRS
to a control center.

Extended Power
The Waveon 708 continues to work even when the Vehicle Battery is disconnected totally.
Both GPS and GPRS continue to function as the Waveon 708 comes build-in with Lithium Ion
battery which allows the unit to function for up to 7 hours from the time of disconnection
from the vehicle battery.
Voice Communication
The Waveon 708 comes with built-in voice communication capabilities for making calls with
call centers. This allows drivers to communicate effectively with their call centres when
necessary.
GPRS Modem Enabled
Plug in any PDA or Laptop and the Waveon 708 becomes a wireless modem to connect to
your Internet Service Provider.
