Manufactured from high carbon cast steel shot and subsequently tempered to three different hardnesses when required to cater for different applications. Available in standard grades conforming to SAE specification for blasting grades. It is also available in special grades tempered to various hardness ranges for specialised applications like shot peening.
Recyclable and has wide applications in the general industry for scale and other surface contamination removal. Popular with foundries for sand removal, in aviation and automobile industries for shot peening of critical components, in container manufacturing facilities, in gas cylinder factories, with metal fabricators, etc. When used in conjuction with the appropriate equipment, our shotballs are the ultimate abrasive blast media for steel due to its durability.
