■ Indications

- Microorganism: Escherichia Coli, Shigella, Salmonella, Citrobacter, Klebsiella, Enterobacter, Serratia, Hafnia, Proteus (Indole positive & negative), Pseudomonas, Neisseria, Acinetobacter, Streptocococus, Chlamydia, Corynebacterium, Bacteroides. Clostridium
- Infections: Respiratory infections, earㆍnose and throat infections, mouthㆍtoothㆍgenial inflammation, renal or urinary tract infections, including gonorrhea, gastrointestinal infections, biliation canal infections, bone and joint infections, soft tissue infections, gynecological and obstetrical infections, septicemia, meningitis, peritonitis, ophthalmic infections

■ Dosage

For the treatment of urinary tract infections, the usual adult oral dosage of ciprofloxacin HCl for mild to moderate infections is 250mg every 12 hrs and for complicated infections caused by organisms not highly susceptible to drug is 500mg every 12 hrs.
